Meet Dr Manish Gupta

With over 15 years of consultant experience, Dr Gupta is renowned for his surgical precision, calm and compassionate manner, and commitment to patient-centred care. He works closely with a trusted multidisciplinary network of physiotherapists, pain specialists, sports physicians, and GPs to deliver integrated, personalised treatment.

Dr Gupta’s clinical practice spans the full spectrum of upper limb conditions, including rotator cuff repairs, frozen shoulder, complex fractures, instability procedures, and both anatomic and reverse shoulder replacements.

He integrates cutting-edge surgical technology such as arthroscopy, ligament reconstruction, and computer-navigated custom joint replacement.

A leader in orthopaedic education, he has served as Director of Orthopaedic Training at Nepean Hospital and currently acts as Secretary of the OTC Asia-Pacific trauma group.

Dr Gupta is known for his technical expertise and ability to guide patients through complex decisions with clarity and empathy.

Dr Gupta is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specialising exclusively in shoulder and elbow conditions.

Born and raised in Sydney, he graduated from the University of New South Wales in 1999 and became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2010.

He has completed elite international fellowships in Brisbane, London, Paris, Switzerland, and New York under the mentorship of some of the world’s leading upper-limb surgeons.
